Our client is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with expertise in Rust. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of our client's systems and services. You will work closely with development teams to implement best practices in software engineering and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable systems using Rust.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies to ensure system reliability.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system performance through efficient code.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Rust programming language.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience in software engineering and site reliability engineering.
