Our client is seeking a Data Architect (Contractor) based in India for a high-impact, short-term contract role. The primary focus of this position is to design and deliver a unified data and analytics platform that consolidates fragmented music industry data into a single, queryable system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture that connects revenue, royalties, audience, and operational datasets into a coherent Big Data solution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop data models and design data flows that facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.
- Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
- Provide guidance on data integration techniques and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong background in data modeling and database design.
- Proficiency in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data architecture and analytics.
