Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their innovative IES DEX organization. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative team that is evolving from a successful proof of concept to an enterprise-scale operation in the Cart Building and Package Consolidation space. The team operates under a full-stack ownership model, allowing SDEs to work across both customer-facing products and core infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop customer touchpoints throughout the entire shopping experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
