Our client is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer 2 with a focus on Azure to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical applications and services hosted on Azure. You will work closely with development teams to implement best practices in site reliability and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance and reliability.
- Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in site reliability engineering or related fields.
