Our client is seeking a Senior SDET Engineer based in India to drive quality engineering initiatives across modern web applications and distributed systems. In this role, you will focus on designing, building, and scaling advanced automation frameworks that improve software reliability and delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Lead and mentor junior QA engineers in best practices for automation and testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software development and quality engineering.
