Our client is seeking a Contract SDET Engineer specializing in Playwright and API Automation, based in India. As a hands-on automation expert, you will work across UI, API, and service virtualization layers to improve software quality and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI testing.
  • Implement API automation testing frameworks to ensure robust API quality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to enhance software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Playwright and experience with API automation tools.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with service virtualization and performance testing is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
