About this role

Our client is seeking a QA Engineer (m/f/d) for a remote, fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications within the transport and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in the software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Utilize automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
