Our client is seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services that support various applications and platforms. You will work closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement APIs and data models.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing code to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Ensure the security and data protection of applications and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Familiarity with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development with a focus on Python.
