About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Power Apps Developer on a contract basis to design, build, and customize high-performing applications that address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, contributing to both application development and process automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Fx formulas for advanced application logic.
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring accessibility and a top-notch user experience.
- Extend Power Apps functionality with custom components and client-side scripting as needed.
- Architect and manage automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate.
- Build custom connectors and utilize APIs for seamless integration with external systems.
- Manage data storage solutions within Microsoft Dataverse, optimizing table designs and relationships.
- Troubleshoot and optimize app performance, addressing issues related to large data sets and offline capabilities.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, documenting user stories and translating workflows into technical specifications.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users to enhance application adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams in an agile environment, staying updated with Microsoft's releases and recommending innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Power Platform development, specifically Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience with Canvas and Model-Driven Apps is essential.
- Certifications such as PL-100, PL-400, or PL-600 are a plus.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and SQL queries.
- Basic coding knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or C# is advantageous for building PCF controls.
- Strong proficiency in Power Fx, custom connector development, and Dataverse architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles and planning terminologies.
Working Hours: This role requires availability for the 2nd shift (12:30 PM to 9:00 PM) to coordinate with the US office.
Work Location: This is a work-from-office position with the option for four Work From Home days per month.
