Our client is seeking a Junior Global Service Desk Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be a vital part of the support structure, ensuring that our global operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing first-line support to users across various regions and assisting with the resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective support to users via phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of IT support principles and practices.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or service desk role is preferred.
