About this role
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 6-month contract position based onsite in Andheri, Mumbai. This role involves working with a product engineering team that is re-engineering a legacy platform into future-ready software. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on senior engineer who can build a full-stack solution from the ground up. This is a build-from-scratch mandate, not a maintenance role, allowing you to shape the architecture of the next-generation stack and set the technical standards for how it is built, tested, and shipped.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver enterprise-grade web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- Strong experience with back-end technologies including Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in full stack development, with a focus on building scalable applications.
