Our client is seeking an experienced AVP, Information Security Program Manager to lead and enhance their information security initiatives. This role is critical in safeguarding the organization’s assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive information security programs and policies.
- Manage security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during security breaches.
- Monitor security trends and advancements to ensure the organization remains ahead of potential threats.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees regarding information security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in information security management, risk assessment, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in information security or related fields, with a focus on program management.
