Our client is seeking a part-time remote VMware Horizon / Omnissa VDI Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for VMware Horizon and Omnissa VDI environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VDI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance VDI performance and security.
- Document support processes and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of VDI solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with VMware Horizon and Omnissa VDI.
- Proficient in troubleshooting virtual desktop environments.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in VDI support or related roles.
