About this role
Our client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer/Admin for a contract position available across Pan India. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow and a strong understanding of ITIL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) including data quality and hierarchy.
- Oversee automated discovery integrations to ensure accurate data collection.
- Manage user groups, roles, and permissions effectively within the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement and maintain ITIL life cycle processes to improve service management.
- Work with relational databases to support ServiceNow functionalities.
- Handle ServiceNow multi-instance architecture and ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize ServiceNow APIs for integration and automation tasks.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support processes, including managing ServiceNow tickets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in CMDB administration and data quality management.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow multi-instance architecture and APIs.
- Experience with relational databases and their integration with ServiceNow.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow administration and engineering.
