Our client is seeking a UI Lead with expertise in React.js for a 6-month contract position based in Katy, Houston, TX. This role requires an individual who can oversee the front-end development efforts of a high-impact application within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality user interfaces in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-end development team in creating user interfaces using React.js.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications and enhance user experience.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
- Coordinate with backend developers to integrate APIs and optimize application performance.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in React.js and front-end development technologies.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques.

Experience:
