Our client is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join their Customer Engineering Team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency of software delivery through advanced DevOps practices and tools. You will be responsible for streamlining processes, ensuring robust application security, and improving deployment reliability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their workflows.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
- Knowledge of security practices in DevOps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a similar role.
