About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Ansible and Linux to join their dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust deployment solutions for Fluence OS controls and integrating them with various subsystems, such as enclosures, PCS/BMS/RTU devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time and offline Ansible-based deployment scripts for Fluence OS software across lab and production environments.
- Collaborate with the development team to deliver releasable increments of the product at the end of each Sprint.
- Support commissioning teams with system bring-up and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Document processes and maintain deployment scripts for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Ansible and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a related field.
