Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for Ruby on Rails applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and testing requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and issues.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Ruby on Rails development and testing.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing and development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails applications.
