About this role

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our client’s digital payment systems. You will work closely with development teams to optimize systems and automate processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable systems to support high transaction volumes.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to improve system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to enhance application performance and reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
