Senior UI/UX Developer (Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Developer for a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sense and front-end development expertise, capable of designing intuitive user interfaces in Figma and translating them into high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design modern, user-centric interfaces and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive web applications.
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components using React.js.
• Build responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and modern front-end practices.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Optimize UI for performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Maintain consistency through design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Participate in UI reviews and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in UI/UX Design and Front-end Development.
• Strong expertise in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Design Systems, and Interactive Prototypes.
• Excellent knowledge of React.js.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and React component architecture.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and usability standards.
• Experience integrating REST APIs into React applications.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to create clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Material UI is an advantage.
• Knowledge of React Hooks, Context API, or Redux.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with design handoff tools and developer collaboration.
