Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team on a 3-month contract in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong software development background, combined with expertise in test automation, quality engineering, and modern software development practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through effective testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
- Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
- Implement and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in software development and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in software development and test automation.
