Our client is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their innovative team focused on eliminating coverage blind spots through satellite connectivity. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of their direct-to-device services that connect smartphones and IoT devices to satellites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and ensure quality throughout the development process.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and track issues to resolution.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices in testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing complex systems.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
