Our client is seeking a Senior Network and Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network and security solutions to ensure the integrity and availability of systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security architectures and solutions.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance on network security issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Experience with cloud security practices and tools (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in network and security engineering roles.
