Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Netezza Developer to join their data engineering team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with IBM Netezza (PureData System for Analytics), developing high-performance data pipelines, optimizing SQL queries, and working on complex ETL and data warehouse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using IBM Netezza.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Document technical specifications and processes for data workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with IBM Netezza and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with performance tuning.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Experience:
