Our client is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team in Toronto, ON. This role involves designing and developing scalable applications while ensuring performance, security, and compliance with AODA standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with government clients, which is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable full stack applications.
- Translate system specifications into fully functional and tested code.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with modern front-end frameworks.
- Develop and maintain relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and related frameworks.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with AODA compliance and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in full stack development, with a focus on Java.
