About this role
Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on data factory specialization at an architect or lead level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing legacy datasets, executing data cleansing tasks, and conducting query performance reviews. This is a contract position for 6 months, with the possibility of extension, based in Noida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize legacy datasets for improved performance.
- Execute data cleansing tasks to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Conduct thorough query performance reviews and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.
- Mentor junior data engineers and lead data engineering initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with 8-10 years in the field.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in modern data systems as well as legacy data management.
- Experience with data cleansing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with query optimization and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
