Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a client engagement focused on building a modern cloud-based data warehouse platform. This role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing a Snowflake environment on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical professional who can establish data ingestion frameworks, support analytics enablement, and ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Snowflake environments on Microsoft Azure.
- Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure efficient data ingestion processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to support analytics initiatives.
- Establish best practices for data governance and security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL and data querying languages.
- Experience with data ingestion frameworks and analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role.
