Our client is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in Application Security, Secure Coding Practices, and DevSecOps. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in establishing secure development standards and ensuring the security of applications throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain secure coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct security reviews and assessments of applications.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities in software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide guidance and training on secure coding practices to developers.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in application security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Application Security and Secure Coding.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Knowledge of web application security standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience Required: 4-6 years in a relevant field.
