Our client is seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator on a freelance basis to support their AWS modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing SAP systems and ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will play a critical role in the deployment and maintenance of SAP solutions in a cloud environment, specifically AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain SAP environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and integration.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in SAP environments.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with a strong understanding of SAP architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in system monitoring tools and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications in SAP Basis and AWS are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in SAP Basis administration, preferably in a cloud environment.
