Our client is launching a data automation initiative and is seeking a skilled Remote Data and Automation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building an automated data extraction and fusion pipeline to enhance their data processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data extraction and fusion pipelines using Python.
- Engineer document parsing solutions to handle industrial asset data.
- Design and export data schemas for downstream software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data workflows for efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Python and data engineering best practices.
- Experience with data parsing, fusion, and schema design.
- Familiarity with automated data processing tools and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in data engineering or related fields.
