About this role
Our client is seeking a Qlik Developer for a 6-month contract position, fully remote. The ideal candidate will have strong Qlik reporting and communication experience, partnering with key stakeholders to deliver visually appealing reports with actionable insights. This role requires expert-level experience in Qlik, specifically with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, and is focused on report development rather than data warehousing or ETL tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Qlik dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Develop, optimize, and document Qlik load scripts, data models, and ETL processes for accurate data delivery.
- Collaborate with business users in logistics, supply chain, and other functions to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain Qlik reporting solutions and scheduled distributions, implementing dynamic reporting and self-service capabilities.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and QA of Qlik applications, including data refreshes and script optimization.
- Implement best practices for data visualization, usability, and governance across dashboards and reports.
- Assist with deployment, version control, and release management of Qlik applications.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and support, acting as a point of contact for Qlik-related queries.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Qlik with upstream data sources and downstream systems.
- Continuously evaluate new Qlik features and recommend improvements to expand BI capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, with a strong portfolio of dashboard and report work.
- Proven experience writing and optimizing Qlik load scripts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases and data warehouses.
- Experience building dashboards for logistics, supply chain, or operational teams is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Qlik reporting features and Qlik-specific tooling.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX principles for dashboards.
- Experience with version control, release management, and QA/testing practices for BI solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Qlik certifications and experience with additional BI tooling are a plus.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
