QA Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join their team. This role is initially based in Indore for 15 days and will transition to a remote setup. The Senior QA Engineer will report directly to the Director of Product Development and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for various applications.
• Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the testing process.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in software testing and/or development is required.
