Our client is seeking a highly skilled PHP Architect for a 6-month remote contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading technical teams and a strong background in PHP and Angular development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, unit test, and maintain high-quality web applications and services using PHP, Symfony, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze technical specifications.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect and implement efficient systems and processes to improve application performance.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PHP and Angular.
- Strong expertise in PHP frameworks, particularly Symfony.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Experience with database management, specifically MySQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
