Our client is seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer for a 6-month contract position, which is extendable based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute performance tests using JMeter and custom coding.
- Develop and maintain test scripts to validate system performance under various conditions.
- Conduct different types of performance tests including load, stress, endurance, stability, and resiliency tests.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in JMeter and experienced in custom coding.
- Strong knowledge of Java or Python programming languages.
- In-depth understanding of the performance engineering process.
- Proven experience in various performance testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in performance testing and engineering roles.
