Our client is seeking a skilled Oracle Core DBA at a mid-senior level for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Oracle databases and will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and availability of database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Handle all database components and support multi-tenant environments.
- Perform hands-on tasks with Oracle Database Appliances (ODA), RMAN, Dataguard, and RAC.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
- Configure and manage Oracle Management Services (OMS) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), including monitoring setups.
- Work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including DBCS and ExaCS databases.
- Assist in on-premises to OCI migrations and ensure seamless transitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle Core DBA.
- Strong knowledge of all database components and multi-tenant environments.
- Proficiency in ODA, RMAN, Dataguard, RAC, and performance tuning.
- Experience in configuring OMS/OEM and monitoring setups.
- Familiarity with OCI environments and migration processes.
