Our client is seeking a Network Engineer I to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems that ensure connectivity and performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the configuration and management of network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network upgrades and improvements.
- Document network configurations and maintain up-to-date network diagrams.
- Support the deployment of new technologies and assist in network security initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Basic knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
