Our client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team in India on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who will provide daily support for incidents and change requests within the Network Service Data Team. As a Network Engineer, you will work across various environments, including Production, Non-Production, and Disaster Recovery, ensuring seamless network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and support network systems in Production, Non-Production, and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and enhancements.
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal operation.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience:
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar role.
