Our client is seeking a Mid Magento Engineer for a 6-month contract to support their e-commerce initiatives. This role involves working on the development and maintenance of Magento-based applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Magento applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Magento installations and configurations.
- Implement new features and enhancements based on client requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Magento 2 and experience with Magento development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Magento development.
