About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced Life400 Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications within the IBM i / AS400 environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RPG development, system integration, and business process enhancement, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications in the Life400 environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement system integrations to enhance business processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through regular code reviews.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in RPG development and the IBM i / AS400 environment.
- Proficiency in system integration techniques and tools.
- Solid understanding of business process enhancement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically within the Life400 or similar environments.
