Our client is seeking a Lead Architect specializing in Data and AI Engineering to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a flagship multi-year enterprise data transformation program. This role is pivotal in building a unified and governed data foundation on Azure, supporting multiple business domains with advanced capabilities including real-time CDC ingestion, master data management, and AI-ready analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical architecture and design of data and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data strategies.
- Ensure the architecture supports real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Oversee the development of AI and analytics workloads on the data foundation.
- Act as a technical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers in best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in data architecture and engineering, particularly with Azure.
- Strong understanding of real-time data processing and master data management.
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning frameworks and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in data engineering and architecture roles.
