About this role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 Network Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in enterprise network operations and support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN technologies, and network monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network incidents and resolve issues promptly to ensure network availability.
- Support and maintain security infrastructure to protect network integrity.
- Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network architecture and design.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies.
- Strong knowledge of firewall configurations and VPN setups.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
