Our client is seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer to join their team for a 6-month remote project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kotlin server-side development and a willingness to adapt to REST API development. This role focuses on enterprise application development and requires a commitment to high-quality code through Test-Driven Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
- Write unit tests and other code testing strategies to ensure software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to product and platform development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with a focus on server-side development.
- Experience with Java is acceptable if willing to transition to Kotlin.
- Familiarity with REST API development and enterprise application architecture.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and best coding practices.
- Experience in product and platform development is preferred.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Kotlin and enterprise applications.
