About this role
Our client is seeking a Senior Java Frontend Developer with extensive experience in full stack development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces using Angular 16.
- Manage cloud resources and services on Google Cloud, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Google Composer 3.
- Implement containerization using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
- Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes and ensure code quality through best practices.
- Work with databases such as CloudSQL (MySQL) and PostgreSQL, with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
- Engage in ETL processes and leverage Apache POI for data manipulation as needed.
- Contribute to multi-threaded and high-availability application designs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and frontend technologies.
- Proficient in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Angular 16, and Python 3.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud services, including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and Apache POI is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
