About this role
Our client is seeking a skilled Java Engineer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot to join their team in Bangalore. This is a contract position for one year, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
- Implement version control using Git and participate in code reviews.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with PHP.
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development.
