About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our client on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
