About this role
Our client is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. This role supports the development, evaluation, and safety calibration of frontier generative AI systems that are utilized by millions of users globally. The position is hybrid, based in either Gurgaon or Hyderabad, and has a contract duration of 12 months with the possibility of annual renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tune and test client APIs to enhance performance and reliability.
- Run projects within the prompt-engineering pod to optimize generative AI outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Conduct evaluations and safety calibrations of AI systems to mitigate risks.
- Document findings and provide insights to improve generative AI capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in generative AI technologies and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in AI or machine learning roles.
