Our client is seeking a passionate and self-driven Cloud Engineer specializing in Observability. In this role, you will design and implement observability solutions that empower both IT and business functions. Your focus will be on ensuring systems and applications maintain high observability, allowing for prompt failure detection and automation to reduce manual dependencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement observability frameworks and solutions for cloud environments.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure optimal operation of critical systems and software applications in production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability practices into existing workflows.
- Develop automation scripts to enhance system reliability and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to observability tools and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of observability tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system monitoring.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and observability solutions.
