About this role
Our client is seeking a Business Data Analyst to validate and analyze a variety of agency data sources to garner public health insights. The successful candidate will produce reports and support data-related activities across several divisions. This role will also involve the curation and analysis of various datasets and assisting teams with integrating new data into existing and new reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as project lead and subject matter expert for specific data sources as assigned.
- Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Produce detailed reports that provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data and information into reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data dashboards and visualizations.
- Identify trends and patterns within data to support public health initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills to convey findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with public health data or similar datasets is a plus.
