Our client is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Pune and offers a hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, particularly in building scalable and efficient systems for digital commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in backend development.
