Our client is seeking a skilled Android Software Engineer for a contract position, offering the opportunity to work remotely. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic engineering team to define, build, and enhance user and listing product flows that impact millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to modernize software using the latest technology stack.
- Resolve issues and ensure robust systems utilizing established testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to maintain high-quality standards.
- Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Android product development.
- Proficiency in building consumer Android applications, preferably using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Strong product sense and a passion for UX product development.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Android development.
